This website is operated by Indy Sira Counsel Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17082857) trading as Legal Illustrated (“Legal Illustrated”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

Legal Illustrated operates as a consultancy business providing commercial, legal and operational advisory support.

Legal Illustrated is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“SRA”) as a law firm and does not undertake reserved legal activities.

Services are delivered through a consultancy structure and are provided pursuant to separate written engagement terms agreed with clients.

Individual professional status

Certain services may be delivered by individuals who are admitted and regulated as solicitors in England and Wales in their individual capacity.

However, Legal Illustrated itself is not an SRA-authorised entity and services are not provided through an SRA-regulated law firm structure.

Further information regarding individual solicitor status can be verified through the SRA register where applicable.

Services we do not provide

We do not provide services which constitute reserved legal activities under the Legal Services Act 2007, including:

  • the conduct of litigation;

  • rights of audience;

  • reserved instrument activities;

  • probate activities;

  • notarial activities; or

  • the administration of oaths.

We do not provide regulated immigration services, FCA-regulated financial services or claims management services unless expressly stated otherwise.

We do not hold client money.

Professional indemnity insurance

Professional indemnity insurance is maintained in relation to applicable consultancy services.

Details of insurance arrangements may be provided on request where appropriate.

Confidentiality

We treat client information and communications confidentially in accordance with applicable legal, professional and contractual obligations.

However, clients should note that services are not provided through an SRA-regulated law firm structure and regulatory protections available to clients of authorised law firms may not apply.

SRA compensation arrangements

As Legal Illustrated is not an SRA authorised law firm, clients will not have access to the SRA Compensation Fund.
